This 1968 Austin Mini Moke was custom-ordered by a client here in Fort Lauderdale. The vehicle came from California and was the only gas-powered Moke for sale in the country at the time. You may see some of these vehicles becoming popular — however, the newer versions are all electric. We decided to rebuild the existing four-cylinder and turn this classic into a mini race car. First, we stripped off all the extras and cleaned up the body. Then we removed all the essentials and sent the body for a Gulf Blue paint job. Rebel Motor Co. decided it was best to run some steel wheels and aggressive Nitto tires in true race-car form. Finally finished, this vehicle features Dakota Digital Gauges, a marine audio system with Bluetooth hands-free management, updated marine vinyl seats, tons of lighting, and of course, a pool ball shifter. Catch this beauty cruising down Las Olas, along the beach, and out on the town in Fort Lauderdale.
